PMO’s have been a part of business organizations in a large part starting with the mid-1980’s.  They are used to incorporate strategies and tactics into achieving business objectives across the enterprise.  I believe Governments can also achieve their business results by  employing a business model called Project Business Management. Presentation to ASQ Holland/Zeeland, Michigan Chapter The title of the presentation is "Creating PBM Metrics to Achieve Effective Business Results." The presentations focus is on how to incorporate strategies and tactics into enterprises of any organizations of any size that will help them create a sustainable Project Business Management Office that facilitates development of PBM Metrics across the enterprise by employing a business management model called Project Business Management.
